I suppose that nobody, either dog or human enjoy their doctors very much, right?
They dress in white, they have us on high tables, away from our human pets, poke us, needle us, well, all the annoying stuff doctors do.
But I'm lucky enough to LOVE my vet!
He looks after me since I was a small puppy and no matter what he would do to me, I'm always pretty happy to see him.
I only feel too disappointed when he comes into the room and would not pay attention to me!
HEY, LOOK AT ME, I'M RIGHT DOWN HERE!
Once, we have just stepped out of my human pet's car, at the green park close to home and started our walk, when I've heard a familiar voice...
What a coincidence! It was the vet, that have come there for some running!
Gee, I was so glad to see him without the white jacket!
My human pet was exchanging some words with him but I wasn't paying attention to any of that, all I wanted was that he would play with me!
After a short while, we parted and my human pet was trying to go away from the vet!
WAIT! You're going in the WRONG direction! Look, HE went THAT WAY and he stopped by that tree (he was warming up before starting training). That's the way WE MUST GO!
I was pulling the collar as harder as I could in the vet's direction but it took a bit for my (slow) human pet to let me go.
When she did, at last, I RUN to the vet, pointed up tail , flying ears, and happily sat by his feet.
You know, I'm a beagle so I usually don't run towards anybody, even to my human pet but I really LOVE my vet so I just sat there, longing.....
Well, after some time, I felt like going for the walk with my human pet and Pipoca so I had to leave him behind but it was just great to meet him outside the doctor's office!
BTW - The dog in the picture above was his and her name was Rabita ( the word in Portuguese for tail is "rabo" and the vet's older daughter came out with this cute original name).
Can you see how she used to smile?
I wonder if that's why the vet is also a dog/cat dentist.....
