I was born on a country house by a city known as Embu das Artes, a few minutes car trip from São Paulo.
My father and my mother were both beagles and my dad was a "jumper". He could jump quite high and was very energetic. Guess it explains something about myself!
When "C.", my human pet, finally was able to make a place to herself, she decided it was time to have a dog and against all odds, she decided for a Beagle.
Many breeders have told her over the phone that a Beagle is OK about being left alone inside an apartment for long periods of time (which is not exactly accurate) but "C." knew better so everytime she got that kind of answer, she discarded that especific breeder until she found one she trusted better.
She came to visit one Saturday morning and she was introduced to me but I was such a young puppy so I just checked on her, found her O.K. and went for a nap right there in the meeting room.
While I was doing so, "C." went out to check on other puppies and meet with mom and dad.
When she came back to the meeting room, I decided to make my point so I got up from where I was sleeping and went right to some newspaper close by and peed on it.
That made "C." feel very amazed about my well-behaviour and that made her believe that SHE had decided over me (eheheheh) Quite a charming plan, isn't?
Since I had not yet completed 6 weeks of life, it was arranged that she would come back to get me home a bit later.
About that, I'll be telling you on my next post.
Oufs to you!
